As required by Australian law, 10% GST is collected on all sales transactions, including (but not limited to) membership dues, the new member fee, path purchases, the charter fee, and all other digitally delivered items and tangible goods.
Toastmasters International is a registered GST entity and collects tax at time of order. The organization files the necessary returns and remits the GST to the appropriate government agency.
The collection of this tax is based on advice from tax advisors in Australia and confirmed in accordance with GSTA99. Please note that Toastmasters International is duly registered in Australia and upon collection of GST, will file with the appropriate government agency.
